Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini) has triumphed in the Sprint Race of the Portuguese Grand Prix, the 21st round of the MotoGP World Championship. The Spaniard finished ahead of his compatriot Pedro Acosta (Ktm) and Marco Bezzecchi’s Aprilia, who started from pole position. Further behind was Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) in front of Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46) and Fermin Aldeguer (Ducati Gresini). Nicolò Bulega (Ducati), racing in place of the injured Marc Marquez (Ducati), experienced a crash, while Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) crossed the line in eighth position.
