Francesco Bagnaia has secured the pole position for the Malaysian Grand Prix, the third-to-last event of the MotoGP season. The Ducati rider recorded the fastest time of 1’57″00, just one hundredth of a second quicker than the Spanish rider Alex Marquez, who is also on a Ducati. The third-fastest time was achieved by fellow Italian Francesco Morbidelli on his Ducati. The sprint race is scheduled for 9 AM, with the Grand Prix taking place tomorrow.
